WhatsApp Chat Groups
Initially in our program to create awareness we have selected WhatsApp as our medium for creating chat groups in every country, states, districts, counties, cities, and locality. The features that WhatsApp provides and the advantages that we have here are plentiful.
- WhatsApp provides space for communities and groups to form and grow.
- WhatsApp provides a link to join a group. This link can be copy/pasted in any of the places to invite prospective members to voluntarily join the group.
- Can have 1,000 members per group.
- Using WhatsApp Business provides few more powerful features.
- 1,024 members per group are allowed.
- In WhatsApp one can create a community with up to 50 groups in addition to the announcement group. One can add up to 5,000 members to the community announcement group. However, a present limit is to add up to 2,000 members to new and existing community announcement groups and communities.
- WhatsApp groups allows to make as many admins as one want. On the other hand, WhatsApp communities allow users to make up to 20 admins at a time.
- Communities on WhatsApp provides users with the ability to organize and bring related groups together under one umbrella. Community admins can reach members with important updates by sending announcements, and community members can stay connected by exploring and chatting in groups that matter to them.
- Anyone with WhatsApp can use this link to join the community, so only share it wisely. It's possible for someone to forward the link to other people, who could then join the community without additional approval from the community admin.
- Only community admins can send messages in the announcement group. Members whose privacy settings are set so anyone can add them to a group are automatically added to the announcement group when they join a community.
- Community Chats let people connect more deeply with communities in real time around the topics they care about in multiple formats, including text, audio and video. The experience seamlessly blends Messenger and Facebook Groups to allow people to connect when, where and how they want.
- Community groups can also gather for conferences, offer mentorship or training, explore industry issues and help members achieve their goals. Over time, these communities can serve as a critical form of support and guidance for individuals and even leave a mark on entire professions.
